Is your struggle a curse or a gift?!
Most people operate against the notion that they can't make it because they have been cursed by hardships and bad luck thrown at them. Unfortunately by viewing your difficulties as a disadvantage you turn off the part of you that helps you push further than what you are capable of. You simply look for ways to validate yourself that see I am cursed and I do have bad luck....
But what happens when you flip that around, when you change the story of your life? I can tell you from personal experience that life will start to happen for you and instead of to you. When you start to see that your struggle is a gift you notice things differently, you operate on a different level and your mind starts thinking differently.
Most people don't look at life this way... but your past and your bad experiences no matter how bad has been the sum of who you are today. A survivor, a strong mom, a hardworking individual, a successful graduate, etc....
So you see... the struggle is not the gift itself, but overcoming the struggle is what builds us and makes us better. I would ask you this... when you pray at night and you ask God for courage, does he give you courage or a chance to be courageous? When you ask him for patience, does he give you patience or a chance to be patient? and when you ask to become a better person does he change you automatically or give you a chance to become a better version of yourself?
Deep inside us we are better than what we actually think, but the problem is we forget and stop learning or teaching ourselves to go beyond what we are capable of.
So up to you, what is it?
Is your struggle your curse or your gift?....
YOU DECIDE,
THE ANSWER IS UP TO YOU.
Profound...Thank you.
